Lethbridge

Lethbridge is a city in southern Alberta, Canada, situated about 215 km southeast of Calgary along the Oldman River. It grew from a 19th‑century coal mining settlement and was named after William Lethbridge, president of the North Western Coal and Navigation Company. Today it serves as a regional hub for commerce, education and health services.
