Trinidad, officially La Santísima Trinidad, is the capital of the Beni Department in Bolivia. Founded by Jesuit missionary Cipriano Barace in 1686, it serves as a key center for the regional bovine industry. The city is located near the Mamoré River on the edge of the Amazon basin.
