Pillaro ist eine Stadt in der ecuadorianischen Provinz Tungurahua und Hauptstadt des Kantons Pillaro. Es liegt nordöstlich von Ambato auf einem Hochland der Anden in 2.800 Metern Höhe. Die Stadt ist historisch bedeutsam als Geburtsort des Inka-Kommandanten Rumiñahui um 1482.
