Villavicencio ist eine kolumbianische Stadt und die Hauptstadt des Departamentos Meta, gegründet am 6. April 1840. 75 km südöstlich von Bogotá gelegen, dient es als wichtigstes Handelszentrum für die Llanos Orientales. Bekannt als "Villavo la bella" und "La Puerta al Llano", verbindet es die Anden mit dem Amazonas-Regenwald.
