Summary
Łabiszyn is a small town in Żnin County, Kuyavian‑Pomeranian Voivodeship, situated on the Noteć River at the border of the historic regions of Pałuki and Kuyavia. First recorded in the 13th century, it received town rights in 1369 and was visited by King Władysław Jagiełło in 1410 after the Battle of Koronowo. The town changed hands during the Partitions, saw battles in 1794 and 1848, and returned to Poland after World War I.
