Summary

About the place: Albertirsa is a town in Pest County, Hungary, situated in the Great Hungarian Plain approximately 50 km southeast of Budapest. It was created in 1950 through the merger of two historical settlements, Alberti and Irsa.

Flag Description: The flag consists of two horizontal bands, light blue on top and yellow on the bottom. Centered in the upper blue band is the town's coat of arms, which features a blue shield with a golden base. In the shield, a bundle of three golden wheat ears bound with a ribbon is flanked by a green deciduous tree on the left and a green coniferous tree on the right. Above the wheat ears is a yellow six-pointed star flanked by two flying white doves facing inwards. The lower yellow band features the blue text 'ALBERTIRSA' in the center.

Symbolism: The blue and yellow colors represent the official colors of the town. The coat of arms combines elements from the former merged settlements of Alberti and Irsa: the wheat ears and trees symbolize agricultural heritage and the natural environment, while the white doves and six-pointed star embody peace, faith, and local spiritual tradition.
