Summary
Łasin is a town in Grudziądz County, Kuyavian‑Pomeranian Voivodeship, situated in historic Chełmno Land of northern Poland. Founded in 1298 under the Teutonic Order and granted Magdeburg law, it was reincorporated into Poland after the Thirteen Years’ War. It was annexed by Prussia in 1772, became part of the German Empire in 1871, and returned to Poland after the 1920 Treaty of Versailles.
