Summary

About the place: Assis Brasil is a municipality located in the south of the Brazilian state of Acre, right on the border with Peru and Bolivia. It is situated in the Amazon rainforest along the Acre River.

Flag Description: The flag features a green field. On the hoist side (left side from the viewer's perspective), there is a brown tree (rubber tree) with four white diagonal cuts on its trunk and a white cup for collecting latex beneath them. A horizontal yellow stripe runs across the lower part of the flag, from which an ascending diagonal yellow stripe branches off in the central section towards the upper fly corner.

Symbolism: The green field symbolizes the lush vegetation and the Amazon rainforest. The brown tree with cuts and a collection cup represents the rubber tree (seringueira) and traditional latex extraction, which was vital to the region's development. The yellow stripes represent the municipality's geographic location, road connections, and rivers.
