Balatonboglár

Balatonboglár is a resort town situated on the southern shore of Lake Balaton, known as a center for viticulture. The area has been inhabited for thousands of years and was officially documented in the early thirteenth century. A prominent landmark is the Xantus look-out tower, which stands atop a hill overlooking the region.
