About the place: Beauraing is a Walloon city and municipality located in the province of Namur, Belgium. It is widely known as an important Catholic pilgrimage site associated with the Marian apparitions of 1932–1933.
Flag Description: The flag is vertically divided into two halves combining motifs from two heraldic family arms. The hoist side (left from viewer's perspective) is yellow featuring a red bend bendletted (a broad diagonal stripe accompanied by two narrow parallel stripes). The fly side consists of eight alternating horizontal stripes of yellow and red.
Symbolism: The flag is directly derived from the municipal coat of arms granted in 1992.
