Summary

About the place: Bělá u Jevíčka is a municipality in the Svitavy District in the Pardubice Region of the Czech Republic, situated roughly 4 km southwest of Jevíčko on the border between the Little Haná region and the Drahany Highlands. The rural, agricultural village lies in a gently rolling landscape along the Bělský Brook.

Flag Description: The flag consists of seven bendwise stripes of blue, yellow, blue, white, blue, yellow, and blue in a width ratio of 11:4:2:12:2:4:11. Along the central axis of the white diagonal stripe are three red hearts. The ratio of flag width to length is 2:3.

Symbolism: The colors and charges are directly derived from the municipal coat of arms granted in 2001. Blue and yellow reference the village's agricultural heritage and the golden sheaf of grain in the shield, white evokes the pure waters of the brook after which the settlement is named (Bělá), and the three red hearts taken from the chief symbolize communal unity and traditional local heritage.
