Summary

About the place: Brasiléia is a municipality located in the south of the Brazilian state of Acre, right on the border with Bolivia. Situated along the Acre River opposite the Bolivian city of Cobija, it forms an important border hub.

Flag Description: The flag consists of four vertical stripes of blue, green, yellow, and white from left to right. In the white stripe near the fly edge, the municipal emblem is displayed inside a pointed shield bordered in yellow and green. The shield features a red star above a white wall in the upper section, an open book inscribed with 'LEX' alongside a constellation on a green field on the left, and trees, a border marker, and a blue wavy line representing a river on a yellow field on the right.

Symbolism: The vertical stripes in blue, green, yellow, and white reflect the Brazilian national colors and the natural environment of the Acre region. The municipal seal on the white stripe symbolizes local history, law (represented by the book inscribed with 'LEX'), the Amazonian flora, the Acre River, and the border status marked by a boundary marker.
