Summary

About the place: Březí is a municipality and village located in the Žďár nad Sázavou District in the Vysočina Region, approximately 11 km north-northeast of Velká Bíteš. It is situated in the scenic undulating landscape of the Křižanov Highlands.

Flag Description: The flag consists of two horizontal stripes, black and white. In the black stripe, there are three yellow pendent birch leaves placed diagonally side by side. The width-to-length ratio is 2:3.

Symbolism: The birch leaves serve as a canting symbol referencing the municipality's name (Březí, related to 'bříza' – birch). The black and white colors correspond to the natural color of birch bark, allude to the local field name 'Na Černých' ('On the Black'), and evoke the parish Church of the Holy Name of Mary. The yellow (gold) color of the leaves stems from the tinctures of the municipal coat of arms.
