Summary
Budaniv is a village in the Ternopil Oblast of western Ukraine, situated on the banks of the Seret River. Founded in the sixteenth century, it was once a fortified town featuring a castle that was destroyed during the Polish-Ottoman wars. The settlement later came under Austrian rule following the partitions of Poland.
