Summary

Čáslavice is a municipality in Třebíč District of the Vysočina Region, situated about 10 km southwest of Třebíč and 30 km southeast of Jihlava. The area lies mainly in the Jevišovice Uplands with its highest point at 635 m and contains several fishponds. First mentioned in a 1240 deed, it belonged to the Rokštejn estate, later the Waldstein and Waldorf families, and received market town status in 1864 before losing it.
