Summary

About the place: Chocnějovice is a municipality and village located in the Mladá Boleslav District of the Central Bohemian Region, approximately 7 kilometres northwest of Mnichovo Hradiště. It is a predominantly rural settlement situated in a gently undulating agricultural and forested landscape within the Mohelka river basin.

Flag Description: The flag consists of two horizontal stripes, red and yellow, in a width ratio of 3 : 7. In the red stripe, a running ermine (stoat) with a blue collar edged in yellow and with a yellow ring. In the yellow stripe, a blue crowned double-tailed lion with red armed details. The width-to-length ratio of the flag is 2 : 3.

Symbolism: The flag's figures and tinctures are directly derived from the municipal coat of arms granted in 2022. The running ermine (stoat) in the upper red stripe traditionally symbolizes nobility, purity, and local feudal heritage, while the blue double-tailed crowned lion on a yellow field draws upon Bohemian civic and heraldic tradition, symbolizing historical allegiance to the Czech Crown and regional domains.
