Summary
Chop is a city in the Zakarpattia Oblast of western Ukraine, situated near the borders of Slovakia and Hungary. It lies on the right bank of the Tisza River, which separates it from the Hungarian town of Záhony. Historically, the town was part of Hungary until the post-World War I Treaty of Trianon transferred it to Czechoslovakia.
