Chrastava is a town in the Liberec Region of the Czech Republic, situated at the confluence of the Lusatian Neisse and Jeřice rivers. It was founded in the 13th century by German settlers invited to mine local metal deposits. The town borders Germany to the north and extends into the Jizera Mountains.
