Summary

About the place: Chrudichromy is a South Moravian village and municipality in the Blansko District, situated approximately 3 km northwest of Boskovice within the Boskovice Furrow. It is a quiet rural community with an agricultural heritage dating back to the 14th century.

Flag Description: The flag consists of three horizontal stripes in a width ratio of 1 : 3 : 1 – red, a middle stripe vertically divided into yellow, green, and yellow, and blue. In the central green field, there is a white ploughshare pointing upward with its cutting edge facing the hoist, surcharged by a white spud (coulter cleaner/paddle) on a yellow shaft positioned bendwise. The ratio of the flag's width to length is 2 : 3.

Symbolism: The ploughshare and the plough spud (otka) are derived from the historical village seal, symbolizing agricultural tradition, soil cultivation, and honest labor. The red horizontal stripe reflects the historic feudal ties to the Lords of Boskovice as well as devastating fires in the village's past (notably the major fire of 1910). The yellow vertical flanks represent the fertile fields and grain harvest of the Boskovice region, while the blue stripe stands for the local Chrudichromy Brook and regional waterways.
