Summary

About the place: Crisnée is a Walloon municipality located in the Belgian province of Liège. It lies in the fertile agricultural region of Hesbaye, near the border with Flanders.

Flag Description: The flag is white with five vertical red lozenges running side by side across the height of the field. In the upper hoist canton (upper left from the viewer's perspective) is a yellow canton charged with a red saltire, which partially covers the first lozenges.

Symbolism: The flag is a banner of the municipal coat of arms. It combines historical elements of local noble families: the red lozenges originate from the arms of the de Hamal family, while the yellow canton with a red saltire comes from the arms of the de Waroux family.
