Summary
About the place: Dalovice is a municipality and village in the Karlovy Vary District of the Karlovy Vary Region, lying directly northeast of and contiguous with the city of Karlovy Vary along the Ohře River. It is well known for its castle park featuring the ancient Körner's Oak and its historical porcelain manufacturing tradition.
Flag Description: The flag consists of two horizontal stripes, yellow and green. In the upper hoist corner is a green oak leaf. The width-to-length ratio is 2:3.
Symbolism: The green color and the oak leaf refer to the famous Körner's Oak (a monumental oak tree several centuries old located in the Dalovice chateau park, associated with the German romantic poet Theodor Körner), which is the central charge of the municipal coat of arms. The yellow and green tinctures derive directly from the golden field and the foliage of the oak in the civic arms.
