Delft

Delft is a city and municipality in South Holland, Netherlands, situated between Rotterdam and The Hague. It is renowned for its historic ties to the House of Orange-Nassau, Delftware pottery, and as the birthplace of painter Johannes Vermeer. The city also hosts the Delft University of Technology, a major centre for science and engineering.
