Derrubadas

Derrubadas is a municipality in the southern Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul, situated near the Uruguay River opposite Argentina. The town lies at an altitude of several hundred meters and includes the Turvo State Park, which covers a large portion of its territory. Future development may be affected by the proposed Panambi Dam, which could partially flood the area.
