Deštné v Orlických horách

Desné v Orlických horách is a village and municipality in the Hradec Králové Region of the Czech Republic, positioned near the eastern border with Poland. It lies in the Orlické Mountains, where the highest point of the range, Velká Desná (1,116 m), is located within its territory. The settlement was first mentioned in 1362, founded before 1350, and historically belonged to the Cistercian Svaté Pole Monastery.
