Summary
Dnestrovsc is a town in southern Moldova on the banks of the Cuciurgan Reservoir near the Ukrainian border. It developed as a company town around the Cuciurgan power station built in the early Soviet era. Since 1990 it has been administered by the self‑declared Transnistrian Moldovan Republic.
