Summary
Dolní Beřkovice is a municipality in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic, situated on the left bank of the Elbe River near Mělník and Prague. The village was first mentioned in 1318 and later belonged to the Lords of Šebířov, the Knights of Blevice and Nosovice, and after the Battle of White Mountain was confiscated. In 1622 Polyxena of Lobkowicz acquired the estate, and it remained in the Lobkowicz family for centuries.
