Summary
Dolní Bukovsko is a market town in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It lies on the border between the Tábor Uplands and the Třeboň Basin, about 22 km northeast of České Budějovice, with its highest point at 553 m above sea level. The settlement was probably founded by King Ottokar II and first documented in 1323, later belonging to the Rosenberg family until the early 17th century.
