Summary

About the place: Dolní Kralovice is a municipality in the Benešov District of the Central Bohemian Region, situated in the Křemešník Highlands near the Švihov Reservoir (Želivka). The original historical town was submerged in the 1970s during the construction of the drinking water reservoir, leading to the establishment of an entirely newly planned village on higher ground.

Flag Description: A blue field featuring a yellow rose with a red center (seeded red) and green sepals (barbed green) above a white fish (aspect ratio 2:3).

Symbolism: The blue field represents the Želivka River and the Švihov Reservoir, the white fish symbolizes local fishing traditions tied to the historical river valley, and the yellow five-petaled rose references the historical ties to noble lineages, notably the Lords of Hradec (a branch of the Vítkovci).
