Summary

About the place: Dolní Morava is a mountain municipality and well-known holiday and ski resort in Ústí nad Orlicí District, Pardubice Region, situated in the valley of the Morava River at the foot of the Králický Sněžník mountains. Its territory straddles the historical border between Bohemia and Moravia.

Flag Description: The flag consists of three vertical stripes of yellow, green, and blue. In the hoist yellow stripe, three red roses with yellow seeds and green sepals are arranged vertically in pale. The ratio of the flag's width to length is 2:3.

Symbolism: The colours and charges derive from the municipal coat of arms granted in 2000. The three red roses represent the three constituent local parts of the municipality (Dolní Morava, Horní Morava, and Velká Morava) and allude to the regional historical noble lordship (Králíky estate). The green colour symbolizes the surrounding forested ridges and mountain nature of Králický Sněžník, while blue represents the Morava River, which springs under the peak and flows through the entire valley. The yellow colour reflects the golden chief in the coat of arms.
