Summary

About the place: Dolní Újezd is a municipality in the Přerov District of the Olomouc Region, Czech Republic, situated approximately 12 km northeast of Přerov and 5 km northwest of Lipník nad Bečvou. It lies in the Moravian Gate lowland at the southern foothills of the Oder Highlands and comprises the administrative parts of Dolní Újezd, Skoky, and Staměřice.

Flag Description: A rectangular flag with an aspect ratio of 2:3, vertically divided into three stripes of red, green, and white in a width ratio of 1:2:1. In the central green stripe is a white springing goat (salient) with red horns and hooves.

Symbolism: The figure of a springing goat originates from the historical municipal seal of Dolní Újezd, representing traditional livestock farming and rural resilience. The green stripe denotes the agricultural landscape and nature at the foothills of the Oder Highlands. The red and white colors derive from the tinctures of the Lords of Kravaře (who bore a silver curled arrow on red), historic rulers of the Helfštýn estate to which the village once belonged.
