Symbolism: The golden abbot's crosier represents the long-standing historical connection to the Velehrad Cistercian Monastery, which owned the village from the 13th to the late 18th century. The ploughshare and the axe on a handle are derived from the historical municipal seal of 1749, symbolizing traditional agriculture and local labor. The green and red colors evoke the fertile fields and soil of the Haná region. The municipal symbols were designed by the prominent Czech heraldist Jiří Louda.
