Dom Pedrito is a municipality in the state of Rio Grande do Sul in southern Brazil. It is located on the border with Uruguay, adjacent to the Department of Rivera. The town originated in the early nineteenth century around contraband activities led by Pedro Ansuateguy, known as Dom Pedrito.
