Dorog is a small town in Komárom-Esztergom County, Hungary, located northwest of Budapest. The settlement lies in a valley between the Pilis and Gerecse mountains and has ancient roots dating to the Neolithic. It was a Roman waypoint, later a medieval market town, and was repopulated after Ottoman depopulation.
