Summary

About the place: Drysice is a village and municipality in Vyškov District within the South Moravian Region, located approximately 8 km northeast of Vyškov on the border between the Vyškov Gate and the Drahany Highlands. It possesses an agricultural and rural character.

Flag Description: The flag consists of a green hoist stripe occupying one-third of the flag's length and a red field featuring two white fly-based piles (wedges) with apices touching the green stripe. The width-to-length ratio is 2:3.

Symbolism: The green and red colors together with the two white piles are derived from the municipal coat of arms granted in 1999. The green color represents the region's agricultural heritage and natural landscape, while the two white piles represent the two silver cones from the coat of arms, symbolizing the local historical brickmaking tradition. Red and white also harmonize with historical Moravian and Olomouc bishopric heraldry.
