Summary

About the place: Dunaújváros is an industrial city with county rights in Hungary, located in Fejér County along the right bank of the Danube. Built in the 1950s as a planned socialist town, it became a major center for steel production.

Flag Description: The flag consists of two horizontal bands, white on top and light blue on the bottom. In the upper white stripe near the hoist sits the city crest. The shield is quartered: the first blue field contains a white Paschal Lamb holding a banner, the second and third fields feature a red and white checkered pattern, and the fourth blue field shows a white antique column capital.

Symbolism: Blue and white represent the Danube River and purity. The Paschal Lamb and the classical column reference the area's rich history and ancient Roman settlement of Intercisa, while the red and white checkering draws from traditional heraldic patterns.
