About the place: Dvorce (German: Hof) is a municipality and former town situated in the southeastern part of the Bruntál District within the Moravian-Silesian Region, nestled in the rolling uplands of the Nízký Jeseník range. It lies along the Důlní Stream near the historic boundary between Moravia and Silesia.
Flag Description: A red field with two yellow diagonal stripes (bendlets sinister) issuing from the first and third quarters of the bottom edge to the first and third quarters of the fly edge. In the upper hoist triangular field is a yellow eight-pointed star. The ratio of width to length is 2:3.
Symbolism: The golden eight-pointed star is derived from the coat of arms of the Lords of Sternberg, who founded the settlement and granted Dvorce town privileges in 1363. The two diagonal stripes and the livery colors of red and yellow reflect subsequent feudal owners and the municipal heraldic heritage.
