Summary
Łeba is a seaside town in the Pomeranian Voivodeship on the Baltic coast, situated at the mouth of the Łeba River and Łebsko Lake. Granted municipal rights by the Teutonic Order in 1357, it later became a Polish fief and a Prussian port after the 1772 partition. In the 20th century it was a popular resort and a test site for German rockets such as the Rheinbote and V‑1.
