Summary
Eutin is the district capital of Eastern Holstein in the state of Schleswig-Holstein. The town originated from a Slavic settlement and later served as the seat of the Prince-Bishopric of Lübeck. It is famously known as the birthplace of the composer Carl Maria von Weber.
