About the place: Hajdúsámson is a town in eastern Hungary, located in Hajdú-Bihar County near the city of Debrecen. It lies within the fertile region of the Northern Great Plain.

Flag Description: The flag consists of a white rectangular field bordered on three sides (top, fly, and bottom) with alternating red and green triangles (wolf-tooth border). In the center of the flag field is the coat of arms of the town. The coat of arms depicts a blue shield with a green hill in the base, upon which a silver Hungarian grey bull is running. The shield is supported by two golden lions rampant, topped with a helmet, crown, and colorful mantling. Below the coat of arms is a scroll with the black Gothic inscription 'HAJDÚSÁMSON'.

The central coat of arms depicts the Hungarian Grey cattle, representing the historical importance of livestock breeding and agriculture in the Hajdúság region. The supporter lions and heraldic crown symbolize the historical status, bravery, and freedom associated with the Hajduk tradition.
