Hichisō is a town in Kamo District of Gifu Prefecture, Japan, situated on the Nōbi Plain north of Nagoya. The Hida River runs through the settlement and it experiences a humid subtropical climate with hot summers and mild winters. Historically the area belonged to the former Mino Province and was administered during the Edo period.
