Higashichichibu

Higashichichibu is a village in west‑central Saitama Prefecture, Japan, nestled in a valley separated from the Chichibu plains by low mountains. The area has a long tradition of producing washi, traditional Japanese paper. Its climate is humid continental with warm summers and cool winters.
