Higashinaruse, Akita

Higashinaruse is a village in the southeastern corner of Akita Prefecture, Japan. It borders Iwate and Miyagi Prefectures and is largely covered by forest and wilderness, including parts of a quasi‑national park. The area has a humid climate with significant snowfall in winter.
