Summary

Himesháza is a village in Baranya county, southern Hungary. Historically it was inhabited mainly by Danube Swabians who settled from Fulda in the 17th–18th centuries. After World War II most German residents were expelled and the village was repopulated by Hungarians from the Czechoslovak‑Hungarian population exchange.
