Hinoemata, Fukushima

Hinoemata is a village in the southwestern corner of Fukushima Prefecture, surrounded by the mountains Komagatake, Taishaku and Hiuchigatake. The Hinoemata River runs through the settlement, providing access to the Oze marshlands. It is renowned for its soba noodles and traditional kabuki performances, reflecting its cultural heritage.
