Hiranai

Hiranai is a town in Aomori Prefecture on the Natsudomari Peninsula in northern Japan. It lies in a river valley surrounded by mountains and faces the Sea of Japan. Historically the area was inhabited by the Ainu and later became part of the Kuroishi Domain during the Edo period.
