Hlubočany is a municipality in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic, situated in the Litenčice Hills near Vyškov. The village was first mentioned in 1141 and was part of the German‑speaking Vyškov Language Island until 1945. After World War II the German population was expelled and Czech families resettled the area.
