Hoeilaart

Hoeilaart is a municipality in the province of Flemish Brabant, Belgium, known for its name derived from the Gallic‑Celtic term for a high clearing in the woods. The town lies near the Sonian Forest and features several historic sites such as the Neo‑Romanesque church and the former Kasteel de Man. It is sometimes called “The Glass Village” because of its past greenhouse grape cultivation.
