Summary
Imotski is a town situated on the northeastern side of the Biokovo massif in the Dalmatian Hinterland. It is known for its medieval fortress and two unique karst lakes, the Blue Lake and the Red Lake. The region has been inhabited since the Neolithic age and was known as Emotha in antiquity.
