Summary

About the place: Janské Lázně is a well-known spa town and mountain resort in the Trutnov District of the Hradec Králové Region. It is situated at the foot of Černá hora in the eastern Giant Mountains (Krkonoše).

Flag Description: Two horizontal stripes of blue and white. In the hoist half of the blue stripe is a white fountain (thermal spring). The aspect ratio is 2:3.

Symbolism: The flag is derived from the municipal coat of arms designed in 2005 by heraldist Stanislav Kasík. The blue and white colors represent the pure mountainous environment of the Giant Mountains and water. The white fountain in the blue stripe directly symbolizes the local thermal mineral springs, which form the cornerstone of the town's centuries-old spa tradition.
