Summary

About the place: Jimramov is a historic market town in Žďár nad Sázavou District in the Vysočina Region, situated at the confluence of the Svratka and Fryšávka rivers within the Žďárské vrchy Protected Landscape Area. It is well known for its well-preserved heritage-protected historic center and as the birthplace of the writer Jan Karafiát.

Flag Description: A blue field with a 2:3 aspect ratio featuring three white isosceles triangles based on the bottom edge. The apexes of the outer triangles reach three-fifths of the flag's width (hoist), while the middle one reaches four-fifths. Above the apex of each triangle is a yellow ten-pointed star with alternating long and short rays.

Symbolism: The flag is derived from the historic coat of arms of Jimramov. The three white triangles (piles) represent the three prominent local hills (Holý vrch, Prosička, and Padělek) historically granted to the town by the Lords of Pernštejn. The golden ten-pointed stars were added in the 18th century, while the blue and white colors reflect the traditional heraldic tinctures.
